Ryan is committed to high quality dentistry and this is clear through his work and the relationships he builds with his patients. Using the latest in digital smile design technology, Ryan will provide you with a bespoke patient journey with a focus on the end goal.

Dean’s main areas of focus are; digital dentistry, digitally guided implants and Smile Design. With the use of technology and modern clinical techniques he ensures precision and accuracy while delivering his patients’ dream smiles.
Dean cares about each of his patients and believes in the importance of the patient journey which is at the heart of the 1Smile ethos. From initial consultations, during treatment and aftercare Dr Dean prioritises patient care and satisfaction exceeding expectations at every corner.
Dean also realises that visiting the dentist can be daunting for some patients so his reassuring and thorough approach to delivering the highest quality, patient cantered care allows even his most nervous patients to feel at ease. He is about to undergo further professional training in sedation to provide even more options for his patients in the practice and further serve their needs.
Rosie Shum

My name is Rosie and I work as the treatment coordinator. My job is to support our patients throughout their journey with us and maintain a point of contact for them.
I also work collaboratively with the reception desk to help manage bookings and appointments. I am committed to providing patients with a supportive, friendly and efficient journey to their dream smile.
Outside of work I like to spend time with my husband, daughter and our dog! I also enjoy socialising with my friends, shopping and going to Pilates.
Chloe Burns
Practice Manager
My roles within the practice are management of the decontamination process along with stock control of all our dental materials.
I am trained in taking 3-D scans and also oversee the patient journey within the practice. Dentistry is a strong passion of mine and I am enjoying expanding my knowledge and furthering myself with the opportunities that 1 Smile has given me.
Outside of work I enjoy, going to concerts and spending time with my family and pets.

Hi, My name is Kitty. I decided to start a career in dentistry because I like working with the public and I love to work in a team.
It has been a great opportunity for me as I have made lots of new friends and have been able to enhance my skills such as my communication skills, organisational skills and being able to work under pressure.
I like working along side both the dentist and hygienist as they are both very different which allows me to experience every aspect of the role. So far I have loved my time working.
When I’m not in work I like to spend time with my family, play my flute and go out with friends for coffee.

I am the friendly face you will see at the front desk! My favourite thing about my job is helping patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and building a relationship with them along the way.
Providing excellent customer care is extremely rewarding to me. I am proud to be apart of such a friendly and dedicated practice, knowing as a team we will help our patients achieve a healthy and beautiful smile they can be proud of.
When I am not working, I love to spend time with my family and friends doing things such as going road trips, trying new restaurants and treating myself to some shopping.
Charlotte Atkin
DENTAL HYGIENIST
My name is Charlotte and I’m one of the hygiene-therapists. I graduated from Edinburgh University in 2016 with a BSc Honours Degree in Oral Health Sciences.I aim to deliver pain-free and thorough hygiene therapy treatments.
I enjoy building a rapport with clients and putting those at ease who may be apprehensive about dental treatment. I try to have an informative and kind approach, striving to continually provide the best care for my patients on their journey to better oral and general health.
Outside of work I enjoy eating out, travelling and spending time with my two dachshunds.
